Fleet Statutory Certification Expert

The role

You will be responsible for supporting Captains and Vessel Superintendents with everything related to surveys and certification.

Your main responsibilities are:

To keep the certificate module up-to-date at all times with the most recent versions of certificates.
To maintain the certificate database, including its library of certificates, in an accurate manner.
Maintaining internal staff’s access to the Class databases.
Preparing a weekly survey planner for the guidance of the Vessel Superintendents.
Requesting first Flag certificates for a new build or for newly purchased second-hand ships.
Maintaining relations with Service Suppliers, which includes meetings at the office and using this network for solving any problems with services and/or products, and to negotiate good commercial agreements.

Your profile

Knowledge of Class and Flag State Matters at associate work and reasoning level.
Experience in shipping is a plus.
Knowledge of MS office software.
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing (Dutch and English).
